- San Giacomo e San Quirico
A grave in the church of San Giacomo e San Quirico in Rio nell'Elba. - Crucifix
Church of San Giacomo e San Quirico. Now that is a strange statue: the shoulders seem to be broken and the hair seems to be ... real. - Church of the Holy Souls
Most of the scenery is dating from way after Jesus was born. - Church of the Holy Souls
The church is so tiny (or rather so full of the Nativity scene) so that traffic lights are installed for the people to enter :-) - Church of the Holy Souls
Church of the Holy Souls now shows The Nativity of Rio Castello. All year long. Even in summer. The nativity scene is not old, it was built in 2010. - Church of Padreterno in Rio nell'Elba
The church was built in 16th century on a preexisting older chapel. - Pieve di San Giovanni
The church is from the 12th and 13th century. - Saint Liboria Chapel in Marciana
Some say the chapel dates from the 11th-12th century, others claim it is from 17th century. Now, that is very exact! - Église Notre-Dame-d'Espérance
The church of Our Lady of Hope in Cannes dates from the 16th century. - Place de l'Église in Biot
Recently renovated Place de l'Église in Biot. Perfect imperfection. Dating from 15th-17th century. - Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Biot
Dating from the beginning of the 16th century, the author being unknown. - Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Biot
Some frescoes in the church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Biot. - Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Biot
A very interesting church as you have to walk down to enter it. But there is a limited amount of asymmetry I can handle - and a main entrance that is off is just too off for me :-)
